What do I actually get after purchase?
A download link for Jericho OS (a zip file) and a licence key emailed to you immediately. The key unlocks full bootstrap network access. The software runs on Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android.
Does it need internet to work?
No. After the initial setup and bootstrap, Jericho runs completely offline. Internet is only used for the Curiosity Engine (web searches when Jericho doesn't know something) and P2P network sync — both optional and toggleable.
How does Jericho learn things?
You teach it by ingesting text, documents, or web content. The Curiosity Engine also learns automatically — when Jericho can't answer a question, it searches the web, reads the result, and ingests it. Every answer improves future answers on the same topic.
Is there a subscription or renewal?
No. You pay once. The licence is permanent. Software upgrades are free and distribute through the P2P network automatically. There is no annual renewal, no feature unlocks behind paywalls, and no price increases.
Can I use one licence on multiple devices?
Each licence covers one instance. If you want Jericho on three devices, you buy three licences. The pricing is designed so this is still dramatically cheaper than any subscription AI across the same period.
What if I have an old Android phone?
The $10 Nano licence is designed for it. Jericho detects the hardware automatically and switches to Nano profile — 256MB matrix, 3,000 DAG nodes, minimal battery use. Install via Termux. Works on Android 7+.
How does the USB / SD card transfer work?
Plug in any USB drive or SD card. In the Jericho UI, go to Storage and choose Export. The drive gets a .jericho/ folder with your knowledge base. Plug that drive into any other Jericho instance and choose Import. Instant transfer. No internet. No accounts.
What happens if you shut down?
Nothing changes for you. Your Jericho instance keeps running on your hardware. Your knowledge base stays on your device. Your licence key continues to work. The software is designed to function permanently without any central server.
