Idetic Labs started with one person who remembers buying software in a box and owning it. Somewhere along the way, software became something you rent, and the people renting it were told this was progress.

We think capable AI should not belong only to a few large companies. It should run on your own hardware, answer to you, and cost what any other tool costs: a fair price, once.

The founder is self-taught and works alone. The lab is privately funded, and the commercial products here pay for the longer research behind them.
